| La aerolínea Southwest Airlines continúa apostando por el destino jalisciense en sus planes de expansión internacional.Puerto Vallarta contará con un nuevo vuelo desde Norteamérica. Como parte de su crecimiento estratégico, Southwest Airlines ha anunciado ocho nuevas rutas desde aeropuertos clave de Estados Unidos. A partir del 6 de junio de 2026, la aerolínea estadounidense pondrá en el aire un vuelo directo desde Las Vegas al destino mexicano. Actualmente, Southwest vuela a Puerto Vallarta desde Denver, Houston, Orange County, Sacramento, Austin y Phoenix. La nueva ruta desde Las Vegas tendrá 2 frecuencias semanales los sábados y domingos en aeronave Boeing 737 de 162 pasajeros, lo que representa 1,296 asientos mensuales más al destino; sumada a la de San Diego -que comenzará operaciones a partir del 5 de marzo de 2026-, la aerolínea llegará a 7 rutas directas hacia Puerto Vallarta el próximo año. |

As part of its strategic growth, Southwest Airlines has announced eight new routes from key airports in the United States. Beginning June 6, 2026, the U.S. airline will launch a direct flight from Las Vegas to the Mexican destination.Currently, Southwest flies to Puerto Vallarta from Denver, Houston, Orange County, Sacramento, Austin, and Phoenix. The new route from Las Vegas will have two weekly flights on Saturdays and Sundays on 162-passenger Boeing 737 aircraft, representing 1,296 monthly seats moreto the destination. Added to the San Diego route – which will begin operations on March 5, 2026 – the airline will have seven direct routes to Puerto Vallarta next year. |
